Tomorrow I head down to Vero Beach for my first ever job interview.  Surprisingly, I'm not that nervous.  I also still have over 12 hours to get nervous, lol.  I almost don't want to practice potential interview questions, because I am better at improvising then memorization.  And I KNOW I will get all flustered if I can't remember what I was supposed to say.  And who even knows what questions I'll be asked.  So I'm pretty much going in blind.

And excuse me while I laugh at the irony/cheesiness of the fact that the map my potential supervisor sent me was made using GIS, which is what the internship is, lol. A GIS internship.
In other news, I'm again contemplating getting a Twitter account.  Mainly so I can link it to this site.  Mainly to have a constantly updating thing so that even when I don't have the time to sit down and write an entry, I can at least keep it updated.  And I know no one has as awesome of an account name as WXchick7.

Also, next week is Spring Break and I am definitely looking forward to some free time to relax and spending some much needed time with my boyfriend! :)

I'll let you know how tomorrow goes.  Have a great day.

First off, things are MUCH better then when I last posted.  I'm still stressed a bit, but its better.

Otherwise, I feel awful for not updating anything on here sports-weather-wise this week.  It's just been nuts.  It'll all either be updated tonight, or it'll be ready to go for next week.  Again, my apologies, lol.

Have a great day.

Hello All,

So I've never really blogged before, but I decided to do it as entertainment this summer since I'm going to be bored a lot, well at least in the next few weeks.  And anyone who chooses to follow this, can keep up with me a little bit.

Yesterday I moved into my summer residence...and well, its not very appealing, pretty, exciting, or clean.  I have at least one roommate as far as I know (I think one moved out last night, but I have NO IDEA.)  I'm also the closest to being completely on my own as I was when I started at Florida Tech.  Oh, and there's no cable.  Which means Sarah can't watch sports, or any tv for that matter.  Oh, and the Eastern Conference Finals are happening right now (GO MAGIC!).  So it's fun...not.

My room is still a work in progress, though I'm not sure that I'm going to really unpack anything else, unless I need something in particular.

Here's a couple of pics:

Ignore the huge pile of crap to the left of the desk...the girl I'm renting the room from didn't COMPLETELY move out.
To sum up the basis of this post:  I'm bored and lonely.  I desperately miss my friends and family who aren't in Melbourne.  One in particular who is going through some trying times, and I worry that I'm bothering on the rare occasion I get to talk to him.  But, as the saying goes, I must "press on regardless."

Expect sports, music, and weather analysis to come!  Have a great day.
